Whether you need one-way transport on a particular date and a return voyage days later, Southern Charters comes through. We even have a storage capacity of up to one tonne. This means you and your friends can bring up to 100kg of gear each!
Southern Charters can cater for up to eight people. Gun holders must carry their gun license, and have the necessary permits for the block they are hunting on. They must also make sure their guns are safely stored, unloaded.
Lindsay and his team began providing this service after seeing a need for safe passage to hunting destinations. Keen hunters are always on the lookout for those hunting spots that will help fill the freezer, but sometimes those areas are not accessible by land.
It can also be particularly difficult to get transport for large groups, especially at great speed.
Southern Charters is proud to fill that niche in the market. We can pick your group up in Invercargill and will transport you from Bluff on our boat at a cruising speed of 25-30 knots. Once you’ve had a successful hunt, we can then bring you home again.
